volkswagen-tiguan-ad-bw-fire-extinguisher-bracket
Fire Extinguisher Bracket for 2018-2024 Volkswagen Tiguan AD/BW

For 2018 the US Tiguan grew into the long-wheelbase second generation, picked up an optional third row and quadrupled its sales almost overnight. This is the Tiguan most Americans know: the school-run, ski-trip, seven-seats-when-you-need-them SUV. More seats means more people on board, and that is a good reason to have an extinguisher mounted where the driver can get to it. A 2018-2024 Volkswagen Tiguan fire extinguisher bracket from KAP puts it at the front seat, fixed in place.

Designed specifically for the 2018 to 2024 Volkswagen Tiguan SUV, the second-generation AD/BW. The bracket mounts to the factory seat bolt points, so there is no drilling and nothing on the vehicle is changed. One bracket fits either front seat, driver or passenger. Want one on each side? Order two.

Universal brackets exist so a seller can list a thousand fitments; the buyer pays for that with a mount that sits crooked and shifts under braking. This bracket is drawn to the second-generation Tiguan seat foot and sits exactly right. Your vehicle is specific. Your safety gear should be too.

Designed for straightforward installation using standard hand tools. Fit the cage to the bracket first, locate the bracket at the front seat foot, and secure the seat per the vehicle manufacturer's seat fastener procedure. Two M5 bolts, two nylock nuts and washers are included to attach the cage. Use a metal-strapped, cage-style vehicle extinguisher mount that is correctly sized, in good condition and installed per its manufacturer's instructions. Extinguisher and cage sold separately.

Laser-cut from 11 gauge steel and powder-coated black, it keeps a low profile in a cabin built for families and their gear. Backed by KAP's Lifetime Warranty. Proudly made in America.

Depending on the extinguisher fitted, the seat may not travel as far in one direction as it did before. It must still adjust and lock normally. If it does not, stop and contact us.

Over 45,000 KAP brackets sold and 4.9 out of 5 from 1,600+ verified KAP customer reviews across the KAP range. Because loose safety gear is not safety gear.

Safety note. Mounts to your vehicle's seat fasteners. Follow the vehicle manufacturer's fastener procedure, check that the seat adjusts and locks normally and clears the belt and airbag components before driving, and use a metal-strapped vehicle extinguisher cage. Installation guide

All sales final for change of mind.
