volkswagen-tiguan-5n-fire-extinguisher-bracket
Fire Extinguisher Bracket for 2009-2017 Volkswagen Tiguan 5N

The first Tiguan arrived in the US for 2009 as the compact SUV that drove like a Golf, because underneath it more or less was one. Owners liked it for that: tidy, quick enough, and comfortable eating up interstate on a family road trip. Family cars carry people who matter, and a fire extinguisher belongs in reach rather than under the cargo floor. A Volkswagen Tiguan fire extinguisher bracket from KAP mounts it at the front seat, fixed and accessible.

Designed specifically for the 2009 to 2017 Volkswagen Tiguan SUV, the first-generation 5N. It fastens at the factory seat bolt points with no drilling and no modification to the car. One bracket fits either front seat, driver or passenger. Want one on each side? Order two.

A universal bracket splits the difference between a hundred cars and lands in the wrong place on all of them. This one is cut to the 5N seat foot, so it sits where a Tiguan owner would want it and stays there. Universal fit usually means universal compromise.

Designed for straightforward installation using standard hand tools. Fit the cage to the bracket first, set the bracket at the front seat foot, then secure the seat per the vehicle manufacturer's seat fastener procedure. Two M5 bolts, two nylock nuts and washers are included to attach the cage. Use a metal-strapped, cage-style vehicle extinguisher mount that is correctly sized, in good condition and installed per its manufacturer's instructions. Extinguisher and cage sold separately.

Laser-cut from 11 gauge steel and powder-coated black, it tucks against the dark lower cabin of a Tiguan without drawing the eye. Backed by KAP's Lifetime Warranty. Proudly made in America.

Depending on the extinguisher fitted, the seat may not travel as far in one direction as it did before. It must still adjust and lock normally. If it does not, stop and contact us.

Over 45,000 KAP brackets sold and 4.9 out of 5 from 1,600+ verified KAP customer reviews across the KAP range. A fire extinguisher only helps if it is still where you mounted it.

Safety note. Mounts to your vehicle's seat fasteners. Follow the vehicle manufacturer's fastener procedure, check that the seat adjusts and locks normally and clears the belt and airbag components before driving, and use a metal-strapped vehicle extinguisher cage. Installation guide

All sales final for change of mind.
