volkswagen-golf-mk4-fire-extinguisher-bracket
Fire Extinguisher Bracket for 1999-2006 Volkswagen Golf MK4

The MK4 Golf is the one that moved the hatchback upmarket, with a cabin so solidly built it reset what buyers expected from the class. These cars still get driven daily and modified by a loyal following, and every one of them is better with fire safety fixed in the footwell rather than loose. An MK4 Volkswagen Golf fire extinguisher bracket from KAP mounts one at the front seat, no drilling.

Built for the 1999 to 2006 Volkswagen Golf MK4 hatchback specifically. It mounts to the factory seat bolt points, so the car stays exactly as the factory left it: nothing drilled, nothing cut. One bracket fits either front seat, driver or passenger. Want one on each side? Order two.

A universal mount is a guess at every hatchback floor at once, so in a MK4 it sits proud of the seat rail or ends up somewhere your foot wants to be. This one is cut to the MK4's own seat foot alone. No drilling. No guesswork. No 'that'll probably hold.'

Designed for straightforward installation using standard hand tools. The cage goes onto the bracket first; the bracket then sits at the seat foot and the seat is secured per the vehicle manufacturer's seat fastener procedure. Two M5 bolts, two nylock nuts and washers are included to attach the cage. Use a metal-strapped, cage-style vehicle extinguisher mount that is correctly sized, in good condition and installed per its manufacturer's instructions. Extinguisher and cage sold separately.

Laser-cut from 11 gauge steel and powder-coated black, it sits low at the front seat of the MK4 and keeps the compact footwell clear. Backed by KAP's Lifetime Warranty. Proudly made in America.

Depending on the extinguisher fitted, the seat may not travel as far in one direction as it did before. It must still adjust and lock normally. If it does not, stop and contact us.

Over 45,000 KAP brackets sold and 4.9 out of 5 from 1,600+ verified KAP customer reviews across the KAP range. The mount matters before the fire does.

Safety note. Mounts to your vehicle's seat fasteners. Follow the vehicle manufacturer's fastener procedure, check that the seat adjusts and locks normally and clears the belt and airbag components before driving, and use a metal-strapped vehicle extinguisher cage. Installation guide

All sales final for change of mind.
