porsche-cayman-987-fire-extinguisher-bracket
Fire Extinguisher Bracket for 2006-2012 Porsche Cayman 987

The 987 Cayman was the first Cayman, the hardtop coupe that turned the Boxster's mid-engine balance into an even stiffer, sharper driver's car, so capable that Porsche had to be careful not to let it outshine the 911. A car this focused gets driven hard, and that is where a fire extinguisher earns its place, fixed to the car and within reach. A Porsche Cayman fire extinguisher bracket from KAP mounts one at the front seat, no drilling.

Designed for the 2006 to 2012 Porsche Cayman 987 coupe. Mounts to the factory seat bolt points, no drilling, no modification. Either front seat, driver or passenger. For both sides, order two.

A universal mount answers to no car, so in the Cayman's compact cabin it stands proud of the seat rail and steals space. This one is shaped to the Cayman's own seat foot alone. Universal fit usually means universal compromise.

Designed for straightforward installation using standard hand tools. The cage goes onto the bracket first; the bracket then sits at the seat foot and the seat is secured per the vehicle manufacturer's seat fastener procedure. Two M5 bolts, two nylock nuts and washers are included to attach the cage. Use a metal-strapped, cage-style vehicle extinguisher mount that is correctly sized, in good condition and installed per its manufacturer's instructions. Extinguisher and cage sold separately.

Cut from 11 gauge steel and finished in black powder coat, it tucks against the seat foot of the Cayman so the footwell stays clear. Backed by KAP's Lifetime Warranty. Proudly made in America.

Depending on the extinguisher fitted, the seat may not travel as far in one direction as it did before. It must still adjust and lock normally. If it does not, stop and contact us.

Over 45,000 KAP brackets sold and 4.9 out of 5 from 1,600+ verified KAP customer reviews across the KAP range. Built for drivers who know the difference between fitted and actually secure.

Safety note. Mounts to your vehicle's seat fasteners. Follow the vehicle manufacturer's fastener procedure, check that the seat adjusts and locks normally and clears the belt and airbag components before driving, and use a metal-strapped vehicle extinguisher cage. Installation guide

All sales final for change of mind.
