porsche-911-997-fire-extinguisher-bracket
Fire Extinguisher Bracket for 2005-2012 Porsche 911 997

The 997 is widely called the last analog 911, prized for its hydraulic steering, naturally aspirated flat-six and the mechanical, connected feel that defines the classic 911. It is a car owners genuinely drive, on canyon roads, road trips and track days, and that is where a fire extinguisher earns its place, fixed to the car and within reach. A Porsche 911 997 fire extinguisher bracket from KAP mounts one at the front seat, no drilling.

Designed for the 2005 to 2012 Porsche 911 997 coupe. Mounts to the factory seat bolt points, no drilling, no modification. Either front seat, driver or passenger. For both sides, order two.

A universal mount is drawn for no car in particular, so in a 911 it perches off the seat rail and never sits right in the compact cabin. This one is cut for the 997's own seat foot and only that. Your vehicle is specific. Your safety gear should be too.

Designed for straightforward installation using standard hand tools. The cage goes onto the bracket first; the bracket then sits at the seat foot and the seat is secured per the vehicle manufacturer's seat fastener procedure. Two M5 bolts, two nylock nuts and washers are included to attach the cage. Use a metal-strapped, cage-style vehicle extinguisher mount that is correctly sized, in good condition and installed per its manufacturer's instructions. Extinguisher and cage sold separately.

Laser-cut from 11 gauge steel and powder-coated black, it sits low at the seat foot of the 911, clear of the pedals. Backed by KAP's Lifetime Warranty. Proudly made in America.

Depending on the extinguisher fitted, the seat may not travel as far in one direction as it did before. It must still adjust and lock normally. If it does not, stop and contact us.

Over 45,000 KAP brackets sold and 4.9 out of 5 from 1,600+ verified KAP customer reviews across the KAP range. Built for drivers who know the difference between fitted and actually secure.

Safety note. Mounts to your vehicle's seat fasteners. Follow the vehicle manufacturer's fastener procedure, check that the seat adjusts and locks normally and clears the belt and airbag components before driving, and use a metal-strapped vehicle extinguisher cage. Installation guide

All sales final for change of mind.
