porsche-718-boxster-982-fire-extinguisher-bracket
Fire Extinguisher Bracket for 2017-2025 Porsche 718 Boxster 982

The 718 Boxster brought the historic 718 name back and switched the mid-engine roadster to turbocharged flat-four power, later crowned by the flat-six Spyder and Spyder RS as the combustion 718 wound down toward 2025. Cars built for open-top back roads still deserve a fire plan, fixed where it can be reached. A Porsche 718 Boxster fire extinguisher bracket from KAP mounts one at the front seat, no drilling.

This bracket is designed for the 2017 to 2025 Porsche 718 Boxster 982 convertible. Mounting is to the factory seat bolt points, which means no drilling and nothing altered on the car. The same bracket fits the driver or the passenger seat. Two seats, two brackets.

A catch-all holder fits no car in particular, so in the 718's compact two-seat cabin it hangs awkward and never sits flat. This bracket indexes to the 718's own seat foot and nothing else. No drilling. No guesswork. No 'that'll probably hold.'

Designed for straightforward installation using standard hand tools. Attach the cage to the bracket, position the bracket at the seat foot, and secure the seat per the vehicle manufacturer's seat fastener procedure. Two M5 bolts, two nylock nuts and washers are included to attach the cage. Use a metal-strapped, cage-style vehicle extinguisher mount that is correctly sized, in good condition and installed per its manufacturer's instructions. Extinguisher and cage sold separately.

Laser-cut from 11 gauge steel and powder-coated black, it sits low at the seat foot of the 718 so it stays put with the top down. Backed by KAP's Lifetime Warranty. Proudly made in America.

Depending on the extinguisher fitted, the seat may not travel as far in one direction as it did before. It must still adjust and lock normally. If it does not, stop and contact us.

Over 45,000 KAP brackets sold and 4.9 out of 5 from 1,600+ verified KAP customer reviews across the KAP range. The apex is optional. A secure extinguisher is not.

Safety note. Mounts to your vehicle's seat fasteners. Follow the vehicle manufacturer's fastener procedure, check that the seat adjusts and locks normally and clears the belt and airbag components before driving, and use a metal-strapped vehicle extinguisher cage. Installation guide

All sales final for change of mind.
