honda-civic-type-r-ep3-fire-extinguisher-bracket
Fire Extinguisher Bracket for 2002-2005 Honda Civic Type R EP3

The EP3 Civic Type R is a cult hot hatch, a three-door built around Honda's screaming K20 i-VTEC and a slick short-throw six-speed. It is an affordable, track-ready weapon people take to circuits and back roads, exactly where a loose extinguisher becomes a hazard of its own. An EP3 Honda Civic Type R fire extinguisher bracket from KAP mounts one securely, no drill required.

Made for the 2002 to 2005 Honda Civic Type R EP3 hatchback and no other car. The bracket mounts to the factory seat bolt points; there is no drilling and no modification. Either front seat, driver or passenger. For both sides, order two.

A one-size mount cannot know where the EP3's seat foot sits, so it lands high or blocks the seat slider. This bracket is shaped to the EP3 alone, following the factory floor. Your vehicle is specific. Your safety gear should be too.

Designed for straightforward installation using standard hand tools. Attach the cage to the bracket, position the bracket at the seat foot, and secure the seat per the vehicle manufacturer's seat fastener procedure. Two M5 bolts, two nylock nuts and washers are included to attach the cage. Use a metal-strapped, cage-style vehicle extinguisher mount that is correctly sized, in good condition and installed per its manufacturer's instructions. Extinguisher and cage sold separately.

Laser-cut from 11 gauge steel and powder-coated black, it sits low at the front seat of the EP3 and stays clear of the driver's footwell. Backed by KAP's Lifetime Warranty. Proudly made in America.

Depending on the extinguisher fitted, the seat may not travel as far in one direction as it did before. It must still adjust and lock normally. If it does not, stop and contact us.

Over 45,000 KAP brackets sold and 4.9 out of 5 from 1,600+ verified KAP customer reviews across the KAP range. Built for drivers who know the difference between fitted and actually secure.

Safety note. Mounts to your vehicle's seat fasteners. Follow the vehicle manufacturer's fastener procedure, check that the seat adjusts and locks normally and clears the belt and airbag components before driving, and use a metal-strapped vehicle extinguisher cage. Installation guide

All sales final for change of mind.
