ford-mustang-6th-gen-s550-fire-extinguisher-bracket
Fire Extinguisher Bracket for 2015-2023 Ford Mustang S550

The S550 is the Mustang that grew up: the first with independent rear suspension, the first sold around the world, and the first that felt at home on a road course rather than just a drag strip. Coyote V8 or EcoBoost four, it built a huge following in track, drift and autocross circles. Cars that get driven like that carry a fire extinguisher, and the extinguisher needs a proper mount. An S550 Mustang fire extinguisher bracket from KAP is that mount.

This bracket is designed for the 2015 to 2023 Ford Mustang S550 coupe. Mounting is to the factory seat bolt points, which means no drilling and nothing altered on the car. One bracket fits either front seat, driver or passenger. Want one on each side? Order two.

The aftermarket is full of universal brackets that 'fit most cars', which in a Mustang means a mount that sits crooked against the seat rail or needs a drill. This bracket was drawn for the S550's seat foot and nothing else. No drilling. No guesswork. No 'that'll probably hold.'

Designed for straightforward installation using standard hand tools. Cage onto bracket, bracket to the seat foot, seat secured per the vehicle manufacturer's seat fastener procedure. Two M5 bolts, two nylock nuts and washers are included to attach the cage. Use a metal-strapped, cage-style vehicle extinguisher mount that is correctly sized, in good condition and installed per its manufacturer's instructions. Extinguisher and cage sold separately.

Laser-cut from 11 gauge steel and powder-coated black, it sits low and quiet under a Mustang front seat instead of shouting for attention. Backed by KAP's Lifetime Warranty. Proudly made in America.

Depending on the extinguisher fitted, the seat may not travel as far in one direction as it did before. It must still adjust and lock normally. If it does not, stop and contact us.

Over 45,000 KAP brackets sold and 4.9 out of 5 from 1,600+ verified KAP customer reviews across the KAP range. The apex is optional. A secure extinguisher is not.

Safety note. Mounts to your vehicle's seat fasteners. Follow the vehicle manufacturer's fastener procedure, check that the seat adjusts and locks normally and clears the belt and airbag components before driving, and use a metal-strapped vehicle extinguisher cage. Installation guide

All sales final for change of mind.
