bmw-3-series-e46-fire-extinguisher-bracket
Fire Extinguisher Bracket for 1999-2006 BMW 3 Series E46

The E46 is the enthusiast's 3 Series, often called the last analog one, with hydraulic steering, naturally aspirated engines and a near-perfect balance of sport and polish. It is a track-day regular and a modern classic, driven hard and loved for how it talks back. An E46 BMW 3 Series fire extinguisher bracket from KAP mounts fire safety where the driver can grab it.

Designed specifically for the 1999 to 2006 BMW 3 Series E46 sedan. It mounts to the factory seat bolt points, so nothing is drilled, cut or modified. The same bracket fits the driver or the passenger seat. Two seats, two brackets.

A universal mount is a guess at every sedan floor at once, so in an E46 it perches off the seat rail or gets in the way of your foot. This one follows the E46's own seat foot alone. Your vehicle is specific. Your safety gear should be too.

Designed for straightforward installation using standard hand tools. The cage goes onto the bracket first; the bracket then sits at the seat foot and the seat is secured per the vehicle manufacturer's seat fastener procedure. Two M5 bolts, two nylock nuts and washers are included to attach the cage. Use a metal-strapped, cage-style vehicle extinguisher mount that is correctly sized, in good condition and installed per its manufacturer's instructions. Extinguisher and cage sold separately.

Laser-cut from 11 gauge steel and powder-coated black, it sits low under the front seat of the E46 and keeps the footwell clear. Backed by KAP's Lifetime Warranty. Proudly made in America.

Depending on the extinguisher fitted, the seat may not travel as far in one direction as it did before. It must still adjust and lock normally. If it does not, stop and contact us.

Over 45,000 KAP brackets sold and 4.9 out of 5 from 1,600+ verified KAP customer reviews across the KAP range. The apex is optional. A secure extinguisher is not.

Safety note. Mounts to your vehicle's seat fasteners. Follow the vehicle manufacturer's fastener procedure, check that the seat adjusts and locks normally and clears the belt and airbag components before driving, and use a metal-strapped vehicle extinguisher cage. Installation guide

All sales final for change of mind.
