bmw-2-series-m2-g42-g87-fire-extinguisher-bracket
Fire Extinguisher Bracket for 2022+ BMW 2 Series / M2 G42

The current 2 Series coupe and the M2 above it kept the compact rear-drive BMW alive: short wheelbase, front inline-six, and in the G87 M2 one of the last purely combustion M cars, still offered with a manual. Cars this focused get used hard on track days and back roads, so a fire extinguisher belongs in one, fixed and reachable. A BMW M2 fire extinguisher bracket from KAP mounts one at the front seat, no drilling.

This bracket is designed for the 2022-onward BMW 2 Series and M2 coupe. Mounting is to the factory seat bolt points, which means no drilling and nothing altered on the car. The same bracket fits the driver or the passenger seat. Two seats, two brackets.

A universal mount is made to cover anything and fits nothing cleanly, so in a compact BMW it crowds a pedal or sits proud of the seat rail. This one is cut for the seat foot and only that. No drilling. No guesswork. No 'that'll probably hold.'

Designed for straightforward installation using standard hand tools. Attach the cage to the bracket, position the bracket at the seat foot, and secure the seat per the vehicle manufacturer's seat fastener procedure. Two M5 bolts, two nylock nuts and washers are included to attach the cage. Use a metal-strapped, cage-style vehicle extinguisher mount that is correctly sized, in good condition and installed per its manufacturer's instructions. Extinguisher and cage sold separately.

Laser-cut from 11 gauge steel and powder-coated black, it sits low at the seat foot, clear of the pedals in the compact cabin. Backed by KAP's Lifetime Warranty. Proudly made in America.

Depending on the extinguisher fitted, the seat may not travel as far in one direction as it did before. It must still adjust and lock normally. If it does not, stop and contact us.

Over 45,000 KAP brackets sold and 4.9 out of 5 from 1,600+ verified KAP customer reviews across the KAP range. Built for drivers who know the difference between fitted and actually secure.

Safety note. Mounts to your vehicle's seat fasteners. Follow the vehicle manufacturer's fastener procedure, check that the seat adjusts and locks normally and clears the belt and airbag components before driving, and use a metal-strapped vehicle extinguisher cage. Installation guide

All sales final for change of mind.
