audi-r8-gen-2-4s-fire-extinguisher-bracket
Fire Extinguisher Bracket for 2017-2023 Audi R8 4S

The second-generation R8 is that rare thing, a naturally aspirated V10 supercar you can genuinely use every day, sharing much of its hardware with Audi's R8 LMS race car. Owners drive them on track and on the road in equal measure, and that is exactly where a fire extinguisher earns its place, fixed to the car and within reach. An Audi R8 fire extinguisher bracket from KAP mounts one at the front seat, no drilling.

Fitment is the 2017 to 2023 Audi R8 4S coupe, full stop. It mounts to the factory seat bolt points with no drilling and no modification. It fits either front seat, driver or passenger; order two if you want both covered.

A universal mount is drawn for no car, so in the tight cabin of an R8 it hangs awkward and never sits flat. This one is cut for the R8's own seat foot and only that. Your vehicle is specific. Your safety gear should be too.

Designed for straightforward installation using standard hand tools. Mount your cage on the bracket before it goes in, place the bracket at the seat foot, and secure the seat per the vehicle manufacturer's seat fastener procedure. Two M5 bolts, two nylock nuts and washers are included to attach the cage. Use a metal-strapped, cage-style vehicle extinguisher mount that is correctly sized, in good condition and installed per its manufacturer's instructions. Extinguisher and cage sold separately.

Laser-cut from 11 gauge steel and powder-coated black, it sits low at the seat foot of the R8 and keeps the footwell clear. Backed by KAP's Lifetime Warranty. Proudly made in America.

Depending on the extinguisher fitted, the seat may not travel as far in one direction as it did before. It must still adjust and lock normally. If it does not, stop and contact us.

Over 45,000 KAP brackets sold and 4.9 out of 5 from 1,600+ verified KAP customer reviews across the KAP range. Built for drivers who know the difference between fitted and actually secure.

Safety note. Mounts to your vehicle's seat fasteners. Follow the vehicle manufacturer's fastener procedure, check that the seat adjusts and locks normally and clears the belt and airbag components before driving, and use a metal-strapped vehicle extinguisher cage. Installation guide

All sales final for change of mind.
