audi-q5-sq5-8r-fy-fire-extinguisher-bracket
Fire Extinguisher Bracket for 2009-2024 Audi Q5 / SQ5 8R

The Q5 has been Audi's best-selling SUV across two generations, the 8R and the FY, a premium compact crossover with quattro all-wheel drive and, in SQ5 form, real performance to go with the polish. A daily-driven premium SUV deserves a fire plan, fixed where the driver can reach it. An Audi Q5 fire extinguisher bracket from KAP mounts one at the front seat, no drilling.

Made for the 2009 to 2024 Audi Q5 and SQ5 and no other car. The bracket mounts to the factory seat bolt points; there is no drilling and no modification. Either front seat, driver or passenger. For both sides, order two.

A catch-all holder is measured against no car, so in the Q5 it stands off the seat mount and never sits square. This bracket indexes to the Q5 seat foot and nothing else. No drilling. No guesswork. No 'that'll probably hold.'

Designed for straightforward installation using standard hand tools. Attach the cage to the bracket, position the bracket at the seat foot, and secure the seat per the vehicle manufacturer's seat fastener procedure. Two M5 bolts, two nylock nuts and washers are included to attach the cage. Use a metal-strapped, cage-style vehicle extinguisher mount that is correctly sized, in good condition and installed per its manufacturer's instructions. Extinguisher and cage sold separately.

Cut from 11 gauge steel and finished in black powder coat, it tucks against the seat foot of the Q5 so the footwell stays clear. Backed by KAP's Lifetime Warranty. Proudly made in America.

Depending on the extinguisher fitted, the seat may not travel as far in one direction as it did before. It must still adjust and lock normally. If it does not, stop and contact us.

Over 45,000 KAP brackets sold and 4.9 out of 5 from 1,600+ verified KAP customer reviews across the KAP range. A fire extinguisher only helps if it is still where you mounted it.

Safety note. Mounts to your vehicle's seat fasteners. Follow the vehicle manufacturer's fastener procedure, check that the seat adjusts and locks normally and clears the belt and airbag components before driving, and use a metal-strapped vehicle extinguisher cage. Installation guide

All sales final for change of mind.
